1、传统波斯系——This is the original and standard version of this breed， also recognized as FSS (Fédération Siecle de Saintongeal) or PSS (Poodle Shepherd Strain) in France. It was traditionally kept for guarding and herding but now shows well in conformation competitions.
2、大丹系——This cross between a Cotswold Owl and Caucasian Sheepdog produces dogs that are extremely intelligent， active and very protective over their family and territory. In appearance they resemble the traditional Persian with a long snout and thick coat. They make fine watchdogs and wonderful companions once trained.
3、中亚系——A small group of Cotswold Owsls were bred to pure Caucasians in an attempt to get a more compact version of the CSD. The result were smaller but no less intelligent dogs with all the guarding instincts of the larger breed. Their heavy coats require regular grooming.
4、德国猎梗系——Bred in Germany in the late 1800s， these dogs were used to hunt hare and rabbit. They are very smart， very athletic dogs that love to work， but can be mischievous too.
5、西班牙猎熊犬系——These rare dogs descend from a cross between a Spanish Greyhound and a Caucasian shepherd. They are fast， powerful dogs with strong hunting drives， although they were never really meant to hunt on their own like a spaniel would. They need vigorous exercise and plenty of mental stimulation to prevent them from getting into trouble.
6、葡萄牙水猎犬系——The Pointer family is quite large， and includes retrievers， setters， pointers and water dogs， among others. Portuguese Water Dogs descended from Poodles and Pointers crossing in Portugal many years ago. They have a water-resistant double coat and webbed feet perfect for fishing and diving. They’re lively， energetic dogs but also gentle with children.
